I'm Melissa, the owner of Tres Travel Design. I fell in love with immersive travel on my first culinary trip to Italy with my mom. Sharing recipes that had been passed down through generations made me feel like I'd been welcomed into Tuscan culture, even for just a week. That's when I knew I wanted to create those same profound connections for others—while carefully respecting local communities and working in harmony with the principles of sustainability.
Those principles influence how I choose my partners- smaller footprint ships, local craftspeople, artisans, and guides who create unforgettable moments, highly personalized and local restaurant suggestions, private vineyard visits, properties that source local products and experiences for their guests.
